The history of this wine dates back to 700 BC, and wines from Orvieto have been poetically referred to as ‘the sun of Italy in a bottle’. Produced in the traditional method, Ruffino’s Orvieto Classico D.O.C. respects history, while its easy-drinking style offers a touch of modernity. Its fruity and floral bouquet is reminiscent of green apples and meadow flowers, with smooth, refreshing flavours balanced beautifully with the wine’s structure and acidity.
